What Does Iman Mean?

DEFINITION
Iman refers to sincere belief & faith and must be accompanied by righteous deeds. Core beliefs in Islam include the following 6 articles of faith;
- belief in one God; Allah (SWT),
- belief in the Angels,
- belief in the messengers (eg. Muhammad, Jesus, Moses, and others),
- belief in the divine scriptures (eg. Qur’an, Gospel, Torah, and others)
- belief in the day of Judgement and finally,
- belief in Al-Qadar (divine decree of destiny).
