What You Need to Know about Ramadan at Masjid ar-Rahmah

Assalamu alaykum,

Allah (SWT) has blessed us to witness another Ramadan and we are grateful for this opportunity. In this blog post we are going to highlight what our congregation needs to know about Ramadan at Masjid ar-Rahmah.

Attending the Isha & Taraweeh Prayers

We will have one taraweeh prayer this year and will begin after Isha. You can visit this link to see the latest prayer times. 

Secondly, there is no separate registration for taraweeh prayers. We will be using the same barcode system as we already do for the daily/Jumuah prayers. For instructions on how to sign up for prayers at Masjid ar-Rahmah and to get your barcode you can head here.

Please keep the following points in mind:

  • Doors will be closed when capacity is reached. The maximum capacity Masjid ar-Rahmah is allowed to facilitate is 15%
  • Masjid will be operating on a first come first served basis. Please arrive early if you would like a spot in the masjid
  • Ages allowed: 15+
  • Please respect our volunteers:
    1. Please follow the rules laid out by the volunteers
    2. Please sit on the prayer spot assigned to you by a volunteer
    3. Do not enter if no one is at the entrance to check you in
    4. Please do not argue/ negotiate with our volunteers
  • At the masjid, you will not allowed to:
    1. Use the washrooms, including using the washroom for wudhu
    2. Socialize or shake hands
    3. Share food or water

 

Following Public Health Guidelines

 

Please do not come if to the masjid if you are experiencing any of the following:

    1. Cough
    2. Fever
    3. Chils
    4. Sore Throat
    5. Runny Nose
    6. Nausea
    7. Stomach Pain
    8. Experiencing change in taste/ smell
    9. Pink Eye
    10. Muscle Aches

When you do come to the masjid please make sure to have the following ready:

    1. Mask
    2. Prayer Mat
    3. Your barcode from registration

  • Fitness programs for seniors and women
