Deconstructing the Myths and Prejudice about Fostering
Saturday, November 6 @ 2:00 pm - 4:30 pmFree
HCI, Sonshine families and AMA Community Center will be hosting an information session on foster families.
This information session is a Question & Answer period for anyone interested in fostering. There are over 50 Muslim children who are eligible for foster families and would greatly impact them in many positive ways.
There’s such a need for this service and perhaps some have even thought about becoming foster parents however, haven’t taken the next step to do. This event will help clarify all of those thoughts and the importance of foster care.
- Is it acceptable from religious point of view?
- What are the benefits for the community?
- What financial support can a foster parent get?
Come meet with the experts at AMA Community Center or join online.
Here are the details:
Date: Saturday, November 6
Time: 2:00 PM
- In-person at AMA Community Centre (1216 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON, K1V 2P1)
- Online via Zoom
