In 2024, we remained dedicated to youth development while strengthening our commitment to social justice and advocacy, particularly in addressing ongoing community challenges. We are proud of the positive impact we’ve made through a wide range of community programs that serve individuals of all ages—from toddlers to seniors. Additionally, our Centre operates as an Ottawa Public Health Hub, offering essential services, including an immunization clinic and free dental screenings to the broader community.

As we look ahead, it’s important to reflect on the core values that Islam teaches us—compassion, peace, justice, and equity. As Allah describes in the Quran, we are a nation of balance and moderation:

وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَـٰكُمْ أُمَّةًۭ وَسَطًۭا لِّتَكُونُوا۟ شُهَدَآءَ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ وَيَكُونُ ٱلرَّسُولُ عَلَيْكُمْ شَهِيدًۭا
“And so We have made you ˹believers˺ an upright community so that you may be witnesses over humanity and that the Messenger may be a witness over you” (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:143).
