Advancing our Community

In the Age of Rising Hate, Islamophobia, and White Supremacy

AMA is proud to present its next special event on Saturday, Nov. 28.

It will be a virtual Islamic lecture program that will cover two important subjects our community needs to hear.

The theme for this virtual event is community building and community safety in the age of rising hate, Islamophobia, and white supremacy.

A number of important subjects will be discussed during the program including:

  • Islamophobia has put our beloved mosques in danger all around the world. Why is it important to invest into our masajid to keep them safe for Muslims and people from all other faiths and backgrounds?
  • What is community building supposed to look like in today's day and age? How can Muslims build a community for themselves in which they can thrive?
  • What can a Muslim do to help build/support the community they live in?
  • ...and much more
